Poxet 30 mg is marketed as containing dapoxetine 30 mg, a short-acting SSRI used on demand for premature ejaculation (PE). Dapoxetine can improve ejaculatory control, increase ejaculation time, and reduce distress associated with PE, which may contribute to greater sexual satisfaction. Research suggests that patient satisfaction can improve during dapoxetine treatment. In a real-world study of 286 men with PE receiving dapoxetine 30 or 60 mg, the overall treatment satisfaction rate was 45%, while 74.6% were classified as responders. Improvements included a mean increase of 3.4 minutes in intravaginal ejaculation latency time and better PE diagnostic scores.
