KCET Exam
Each course has its own level of challenges. But all the most challenging courses needs its students to crack their entrance exams. There are different kinds of entrance exams. Amongst them one such important and annually happening is KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test). CET also called as Karnataka Common Entrance Test entirely was introduced for the students of Karnataka only in the year 1984. The CET is conducted every year by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Every year around 1 million students take up this exam.
By conducting KCET by the KEA authority, this exam admits students into undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.VSc & AH), B Pharma, D Pharma, BSc Agriculture, Sericulture, Horticulture and Forestry, Paramedical Courses, Naturopathy and Yoga Courses in Government Colleges, Private Colleges , Universities, aided and unaided educational institutions of Karnataka.
Taking CET into consideration exclusively only Karnataka students can take up this exam but also students belonging to other states can also apply for admissions in various universities and colleges through management quota seats.
